| Description (Service) | Pediatric mental health program * short term crisis services for children and adolescents who present at hospital emergency department * ER crisis response team are notified, conduct assessment, link client to appropriate community service * adolescents who require admission are admitted to the Windsor Regional Hospital mental health beds located at Maryvale campus * if beds are not available the adolescent may be admitted to the hospital pediatric unit to await appropriate placement and care |
