Description (Service) | Aboriginal Youth Program (At Risk) * provides a comprehensive set of activities Social Supports: * address self-esteem issues, victimization issues, peer pressure Healthy Eating and Physical Development: * health impacts of poverty, diabetes and obesity Institutional Interventions: * educational access and supports, justice advocacy, prevention and intervention activities Violence Prevention: * address violence, bullying Youth In Care: * provide access supports. Based on a fundamental principle: to improve the quality of life of urban Aboriginal youth through the delivery of cultural appropriate services and programs |
