| Description (Service) | * Financial Assistance and Camps are through head office or online (please call toll free number for assistance) * Windsor Essex County Office is for fundraising efforts only Health and Rehabilitation * offer consultative services in the care and management of special needs children in the home and at school. * advise parents about treatment facilities, clinics, and other services available through the Society and other community agencies Woodeden Camp * one of the two camps operated by the Society, is open to special needs children ages seven to eighteen years in Southwestern Ontario, for two weeks each summer. (Referrals through the District Office). Financial assistance to parents (based on need) * to cover the cost of braces, wheelchairs, and special equipment not covered under a medical insurance plan. The Rotary Club helps to raise funds for Easter Seals. Other Services Provided: * Fundraising events to raise money for specialized communication & mobility equipment and camp. * Disability Awareness presentations to groups & organizations * Workshops for parents of children with physical disabilities on various topics * Youth leadership conferences & seminars * Volunteer program * Resources & Information * Financial Assistance though Easter Seals Distribution Committee |
