| Description (Service) | In order to continue maintaining the health and safety of our volunteers, staff, youth and service providers, The Bridge Leamington Youth Resource Centre is modifying services until April 5 or until further recommendations come forward. 1. We will maintain staffing of our supportive housing facility to ensure these youth are housed and cared for appropriately. If you have a youth ages 16-24 in need of housing, please connect with Wanda Rodrigues at wanda@thebridgeyouth.ca for further information. 2. We will be offering basic need and essential services Monday through Friday 9am-3pm for youth ages 14-24, which includes: our nutrition program (i.e., 3 days worth of groceries), showers, laundry and our clothing closet. 3. Resource Centre Programs and Services: all services have been postponed unless a previously scheduled meeting is taking place. Please connect with that specific service provider for further information. A resource centre for youth in the Leamington and surrounding area *offers basic need services such as a daily hot meal, laundry and shower facilities, as well as a nutrition program (i.e., three days of groceries) *also offers programming that focuses on education and income supports, social inclusion, life and coping skills, and mental health and addiction services *the Centre is always looking for a variety of donations; see complete list here Click here for volunteer opportunities |
