Description (Service) | The Healthy Schools program for local area schools promotes the health and well-being of students through the following actions and initiatives: * support and promote healthy school policies * assisting teachers by providing credible health information which aligns with curriculum expectations * school events targeting health behaviours * healthy growth and development * concussions and injury prevention * healthy eating * physical activity * mental health and suicide prevention * violence and bullying * substance use * vaccination clinics and immunization records |
