| Description (Service) | The world's largest global movement for children * working for over 90 years in Canada and almost 100 years overseas * aims to bring immediate and lasting improvements to children's lives through the realization of their rights, emergency relief and development * speakers available * local fundraising events include Annual sales at selected locations * member of Save the Children International with member organizations in 29 countries and operating in over 100 countries * member Humanitarian Coalition. * There is a group of dedicated volunteers in Windsor who continue to raise money and awareness of Save the Children to provide support for the on-going Children's projects. * welcome anyone wishing to be a volunteer with this organization which focuses on improving the lives of children in Canada and worldwide |
