Description (Service) | Workplace language and skill training program (ELT - Enhanced Language Training/IWORK - Immigrants With Occupation Related Knowlegde) is designed to equip newcomers/immigrants to Canada with the necessary skills to find and keep a job in Canada. * 6 week part-time in-class training courses targeting various skill and occupation specific areas * Work placements with local employers * One-on-one employment coaching and access to a variety of employment supports and community resources * Free childcare is available for children 3 months to 6 years of age during the day and 2.5 to 12 years of age in the evening * Transportation assistance is available for eligible clients |
