Description and Service Details
Description (Service) One of 12 provincial early intervention programs for children diagnosed as blind or with low vision  
Services include 
* family support and counseling 
* specialized intervention for the child and family  
* consultation to staff in early learning and care programs and education for parents and professionals  
* services are provided in the home and community
Hours Admin Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30 pm
Areas Served Chatham-Kent ; Essex County
Eligibility Ages: 5 year(s) and under 
* Children must have a medical diagnosis of blindness or low vision  
* Children may be eligible for services from birth to grade one entry.
Application * Referrals can be received from parents or caregiver, physicians, ophthalmologist, optometrist  
* Parent/Legal Guardian consent is required
Languages English ; French ; Interpretive Services - Translator upon request
