Description (Service) | Windsor-Essex Housing Connections (WEHC) is a partnership of agencies who work together to help people find affordable, rental housing and end the cycle of homelessness. Housing First Program – Family Services Windsor-Essex helps people who have been chronically homeless (ie 6+ months) and have a significant mental health and/or addiction concerns. Housing Outreach Workers - provide street outreach support (MOST - Mobile Outreach and Support Team) and are available at Windsor Ontario Works (WOW Centre, 400 City Hall Sq E, 1st floor, 12:00-4:30pm Monday to Friday) All other people needing assistance with affordable, rental housing can contact one of the following agencies: * Housing Information Services (Greater Windsor area), * Accessible County Community Support Services (Essex County) * CAN-AM Indian Friendship Centre. |

Description (Agency) | We provide strategies and support to address personal problems, resolve conflicts and help people live independently in the community. We help people complete forms, applications & income taxes; deal with hoarding, bullying and financial issues; and find/maintain affordable rental housing. We help individuals, couples and families manage life, marriage and family challenges; deal with arising issues and resolve conflicts; address anxiety, depression, anger, loss, grief, as well as addiction, sexuality, mental health and wellness issues. |
