| Description (Service) | * Activities focus on socialization, integration, independent living, and self-help skills. * Program activities are both on-site and in the community. * An individual plan is developed by Roots 2 Wings along with the person and their family/caregiver. Friendship Club * Friendship Club offers caregivers a break while their loved ones enjoy a fun time out socializing with peers attending open-mics, karaoke, games, hobbies, and dance nights! * For ages 13+, this is a great opportunity to gain and maintain friendships while engaging in meaningful activities! Volunteers: * R2W is always looking for extra help to interact and form friendships with our clients. Co-op Placements: * R2W co-operates with surrounding high school and post secondary schools to provide experience to students in the field of disabilities. * If your school is not already involved, we would love to make further connections. Contributions: * R2W is always thrilled to accept donations of supplies for games, crafts, activities, and cleaning/hygiene. |
