Description (Service) | The Windsor Women Working with Immigrant Women welcomes all women of any status to join our Women’s Program. You will receive basic and intermediate computer skills training and develop life skills. You will also receive employment training and one-on-one support as well as learn how to navigate Windsor's social systems and institutions. The Women’s Program proudly provides all these services for Free: Essential Computer Skills * Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint * Typing and Mouse Skills * Internet, Email and Social Media * Google Apps Skill Building Workshops * English Conversation Groups * Women’s Rights, Health and Safety * Stress Management & Positive Thinking * Assertiveness Training Job Readiness Training * Resume, Cover Letter and Interview * One-on-one employment counselling * WHIMIS certification * Job specific training Creative & Fun Activities * Do-it-Yourself Projects * Fitness, Dance and Meditation * Art, Games and Films * Childcare Provided for clients of the Centre * Volunteer Positions Available |
