Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Regional program provides specialized outpatient assessment and care for people living with osteoporosis, Paget's disease (chronic disorder that can result in enlarged and misshapen bones), renal bone disorder (kidney-related condition that weakens the bones in the body), and other metabolic bone disease (disorders of bone strength)

Services for the prevention, education, diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of osteoporosis (porous or brittle bones) and related conditions
  • treatment of primary and secondary osteoporosis
  • education for patients with bone and mineral metabolism disease
  • Osteoporosis Infusion Clinic
  • referrals for vertebroplasty (surgical procedure for increasing spinal stability and relieving back pain caused by fractured vertebrae), rehabilitation and exercise programs as needed

Hours Osteoporosis Clinic: Tue-Thu 9am-5pm
Administration: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm
