Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Services to help men eliminate their abusive and violent behaviours in their primary and intimate relationships * public education presentations

Partner Assault Response - 12 week group education and counselling program on domestic violence and non-abusive ways of resolving conflict * victims/partners of the offender provided with support including safety planning, referrals to community resources, and information on offender’s progress

Volunteer Training - Violence-free men and women are trained to co-facilitate men's groups, provide partner contact and participate in other activities

Hours Administration: Mon-Fri 9am-3pm
Meetings Client groups usually run on Tue, Wed, Thu evenings, some weekday afternoons, and Sat mornings * frequency of client groups is dependent upon sufficient client referrals to run in a group format.

Eligibility Men, 18 years and older, who wish to eliminate violent behaviour against their spouses/partners and who are able to benefit from a group program * both voluntary and court mandated
Partner Assault Response - Offenders 18 years and older, ordered by the court to attend the program in response to a criminal charge involving domestic violence
Application Call to schedule an intake/assessment meeting * referrals initiated by the Criminal Justice system or other community agencies
