Description (Service) | Supports diabetes research, service, education and advocacy * fundraises for research and education * awareness activities held in November for Diabetes Awareness Month * Future Professionals Conference held annually in November Information and Resource Centre - Literature and lending library * information on financial assistance options Summer Camps for Children with Diabetes (Camp Discovery) - Safe, medically supervised camp for children and youth with diabetes Learning Series Presentations - Information sessions for groups about healthy lifestyles, living with diabetes, and research information * information displays available Banting House National Historic Site - Open Tue through Sun 12noon-4pm Clothesline Program - To donate clothing or household items call 1-800-505-5525 or visit the website for information about the closest drop-off box Community Pharmacy Outreach Program (CPOP) - Pharmacy-based diabetes management services |
