| Description (Service) | National community-based organization that provides information on cancer prevention, detection and treatment for all types of cancer * online peer support * funds cancer research Information and Referral and Resource Room - Printed material on any aspect of cancer * information about cancer issues and referral to other services * printed material on reducing risk and all cancer treatments * information available on website Transportation - Volunteer drivers provide transportation to and from cancer related care appointments for cancer patients and one escort * new registrants for transportation services pay one-time $100 fee * compassionate program available to help cover costs * 3 business days notice is required in advance of the appointment * to register call 1-866-939-3333 |
