Description (Service) | COVID-19 - Closed until further notice. A local museum working to preserve local history by maintaining and expanding the collection of materials and artifacts; To assist students and others conducting research. To promote an awareness of the communities historical background. Major Services: Research Room containing local history for Wallaceburg and surrounding area in North Kent and South Lambton. Videos, slides and films available for viewing. 'History On The Go', education enrichment program for local schools. Legion Room and Lee-Enfield rifles, Industrial Room, Marine display, Sports Hall of Fame, James Streetscape,an impressive collection of hand-blown glass artifacts including "whimsies" in our Glass Gallery and an outdoor parkette. |
